So on Saturday the Grant Family went to the zoo. There, Mat posed with a big gorilla... We saw awesome sights. We had an adventure with 2 birds...as they tried to eat Scott's shoes, and pants. They were also very interested in our water. Scott also held a HUGE bug from Australia. We also watched a cool 4-D movie. Though Mat got scared and Mat does not get scared often! We think it is because of the "4-D" action, where the seats vibrate, and water shoots at you.
After our busy day at the zoo, we came home. We finished the chicken tractor, and while finishing the chicken tractor, Mat decided to play with a huge pile of sand and dirt. Did he build sand castles...no! Did he build a moat and act like the pile was his huge empire...no! Did he do anything remotely clean...no. Note the outfit in the first picture. Now note the outfit and the face and skin in the last picture....Yes. The same boy, the same day...just after a huge pile of dirt, and sand.
